Episode Ninety Eight: "If it's more than a dollar ninety-eight I'd be very surprised."

This week, we talk about the first three episodes of True Blood in the usual haphazard way that we do, then we go off on a tangent and start talking about something else entirely. Hot Tub Time Machine is discussed for a bit and there is speculation about why this summer seems to be doing worse than others prior.

A listener poses a question and we run with that for a bit, we talk interesting facts about the universe and science then turn our attention toward the dummies here on Earth. From our feedback section, click here for the link to the history of BP. On a lighter note, here's a link to the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas!

Our 100th episode is only TWO WEEKS AWAY! Don't forget our special contest, the person that can identify the most movies from quotes used as show titles will receive a special Are You Serious? prize pack! Get you answers in soon! Submit your answers to areyouseriouspodcast@gmail.com

Episode Ninety Seven

In this episode of Are You Serious, we talk about Knight and Day, Marmaduke, Furry Vengeance, Toy Story 3 and Karate Kid. Some were better than others and some were very surprising in how good they were versus expectations.

Next, we dive into some current events from the news and the fringes of sanity. From Glenn Back to Sarah Palin, and BP to an outed anti-gay activist, we have a stunning swath of stupidity to discuss this week.

After that, we talk for a bit more before we get to our fantastic feedback!

Then, we mercifully wrap up the show and call it a week.

Our 100th episode is coming up in just a few weeks, be sure to get your feedback to us in time for the show!

Music this week is from:
Leonard Cohen - "Everybody Knows"
Huey Lewis and the News - "Hip To Be Square"
Def Leppard - "Let's Get Rocked"
Muse - "Uprising"
Concrete Blonde - "Everybody Knows"

Episode Ninety Six: "I have 96 daughters and 1 son."

This episode, we draw ever nearer to milestone episode number 100. Remember, we have an ongoing contest to win a special Are You Serious prize pack for who ever can identify the most show title quotes. As for content for number 100, we still don't know what we want to do.

Topics for discussion this week include, B.P. and oil, Sarah Palin, religion, 3D porn movies and pregnancy, touchdown Jesus and the fire he helped spread. What constitutes an act of god and what if god was self loathing?

Of course, there are more crazy things to talk about, seeing as how all of the shows we watch have ended.

Episode Ninety Five

Episode Ninety Five: "There's a ninety-five pound Chinese man with a hundred sixty million dollars behind this door."

This week, we have a very different show for you. One of the regular hosts couldn't make it to record, and we have our very first guest host! We talk about Glee and the season finale, religion, Star Wars and the possibilities available with a post Return of the Jedi, Clone Wars style series. Sarah Palin possibly giving jobs to boobs... what? It's a possible boob job? Oh! That's different. Just when you think she couldn't get any more fake.

The co-host for this week really tries to derail the show, but try as they might, it didn't work!

Music this week is from:

Leonard Cohen - "Everybody Knows"

Bad Religion - "Atheist Peace"

John Carpenter - "Theme From Escape From New York"

Jace Everett - "Bad Things"

Concrete Blonde - "Everybody Knows"
