Episode Twenty Six: "Well, you take over then. I have no stake in this." - Chief Wiggum

Here, in what will hopefully be it's new release day from this day forward is...

Episode Twenty Six: "Well, you take over then. I have no stake in this." - Chief Wiggum

In this episode we answer all of the email that our listeners have sent in. We discuss some new releases, (including Friday the 13th.) some older releases, and some T.V. What a surprise!

Speaking of surprises, Chris has some big news from the world of popsyndicate podcasts. Check out the forums over at
popsyndicate.com/forums

This episode marks the first report from our kids movie correspondent Olivia. She stopped by the show and gave a wonderful review of Coraline.

As always, check out the band that recorded our opening:

This show (and many others before it) wouldn't have been possible without the help of my wonderful producer/engineer/wife, E.
Thank you.

Music this week is from:
Nirvana (All Apologies)
Anthrax (Got the Time)
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Nobody Weird Like Me)
and our closing theme:
Killer Dwarfs (We Stand Alone)

Episode Twenty Five: "I thought I was looking at my mother's old douche-bag, but that's in Ohio."

Here, a day early is Episode Twenty Five: "I thought I was looking at my mother's old douche-bag, but that's in Ohio."

This episode is a bit of a departure for us. We pick up the reigns from Outside the Cinema in a show of solidarity and address a listener that crosses the line. Perhaps they have a "Touch of Evil."

But, before that, we discuss some new releases and some older titles that we have seen. After that, we talk about one of our favorite shows.

Ben joins us again for some in show music and believe it or not, the hiss is gone!

In this episode we feature music from
Heretix (My Favorite Hooker)
Thomas Dolby (She Blinded Me With Science)
Barenaked Ladies (Big Bang Theory Theme)
and as usual, our closing song
Killer Dwarfs (We Stand Alone)

Episode Twenty Four: "Ok, that was once, and I was drunk, and *it was Valentine's Day*. So back off."

This week, we have a shorter show for you. We had some sound issues that could only be half fixed in post, so you are getting the best of what's left!

This show has no real topic. We discuss Valentines' Day, some recent releases, bad relationships and some other assorted nonsense.

Check out the band that recorded our opening

We have a guest this week, Ben joined us for the first half of the show.
Check out his youtube channel

We feature music this week from:
The Dead Milkmen (Big Lizard in My Backyard)
The Cramps (Surfin' Dead)
The Death Riders (Suffer)
Guns 'n Roses (Crazy)
and our closing song, of course
Killer Dwarfs (We Stand Alone)

Episode Twenty Three:"We got totally lied to by our album covers, man."

Welcome to Episode Twenty Three of Are You Serious?

"We got totally lied to by our album covers, man."

This time around, we move away a bit from movies and politics and venture into the realm of music. We discuss our favorite albums for a while after we debate who will win in the major Oscar categories.

This show marks the appearance of the new (and still evolving) opening theme. The band is The Fine Print and you can find them at:
myspace.com/thefineprintband

This week we feature music from
Dropkick Murphys (State of Massachusetts)
Tenacious D (Tribute)
Guns n Roses (Welcome to the Jungle)
Killer Dwarfs (We Stand Alone)
and John Williams (Imperial March)
